Rodrigo Esteves is an Spanish- Brazilian baritone born in Rio de Janeiro, he made his singing studies with Alfredo Colósimo till 1990, when he moved to Madrid where he studied with Antonio Blancas and later on with Renato Bruson.

He made his debut of Shaunard in La Boheme at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, since then he has sung a large repertoire as Alfonso XI in La Favorita at Pamplona (Spain), also in the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires with Silvia Tro in the role of Leonora; Silvio in I Pagliacci, with great success of audience and critics; Germont in La Traviata at Rio de Janeiro; Mercutio in Romeo et Julliette at Jerez de la Frontera; Dandini in La Cenerentola at the “VII Amazonas Opera Festival” (Brazil); Germont in La Traviata and Conte d’Almaviva from Le Nozze di Figaro at Spoleto (Italy); Carmina Burana in Madrid; Conte d’Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro in a tour around Japan, together with Carmela Remigio in the Contessa role; Germont in La Traviata at Tokio, Osaka and Nagoya with Dimitra Theodossiou in the role of Violetta; Rodrigo of Don Carlo in Sao Paulo (Brazil) with Octavio Arévalo as Don Carlo and Julian Konstantinov as Filippo II; Marcello in La Bohème at Spoleto (Italy); Valentin of Faust in Sao Paulo with Leontina Vaduva as Marguerite and Macbeth in Rio de Janeiro; Marcello in La Bohéme at Perugia; Ford in Falstaff at Busseto; Schaunard of La Bohème at Jerez de la Frontera; Belcore of L’Elisir d’Amore, with stage direction of Enzo Dara and Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor at Sao Paulo; Renato in Un Ballo in Maschera at Messina; Carmina Burana and Die Tote Stadt by Erich Korngold in Sao Paulo; La Bohème at Rio de Janeiro; Belcore of L’Elisir d’Amore in Jerez de la Frontera; Cavalleria Rusticana and I Pagliacci in Cagliari (Italy); Der Rosenkavalier at Sao Paulo; Nabucco and Il Trovatore at Rio de Janeiro; Nabucco at Belo Horizonte; Tosca at Belem (Brazil).
