Richard Leech es uno de los últimos grandes tenores del Metropolitan de New York, donde ha interpretado cerca de 200 funciones. Seguidor de la linea de Caruso, Gigli, Björling, etc. ha sido y es una de las grandes glorias norteamericanas de la lírica en el mundo, durante los últimos casi treinta años.

Su carrera se ha desarrollado principalmente en los Estados Unidos aunque no por ello menos prolifera en el exterior, con intervenciones en Berlin, Londres, Milán, Viena, Paris etc. También en nuestro país ha tenido brillantes apariciones como: Lucia, Rigoletto y Requiem de Verdi en Bilbao; Requiem de Verdi en Sevilla y Barcelona en 1992, Fausto en Madrid 2003 y Madama Butterfly en Barcelona 2006.

Alfonso G Leoz, ha tenido el honor de ser su manager en España desde 1991.
